Estonia – Order of the Eagle Cross, III Class (Kotkaristi teenetemärk) | Dated 1928 | Military Medal

The Order of the Eagle Cross (Kotkaristi teenetemärk) was established on February 24, 1928 by the Estonian Defence League to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Estonian independence. It was created to recognize and honor military and civilian contributions to national defense. This decoration is deeply tied to Estonian patriotic identity and the post-World War I era of national formation. It is awarded in five main classes and three crosses, with this listing representing the prestigious III Class.
