- Suspended from a detailed golden pyramid with fortress imagery, representing strength and national defense.
Reverse:
- Features a radiant rising sun above a mountain landscape, a symbol of liberty and hope.
- The surrounding inscription reads: "REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS LIBRE SOBERANA E INDEPENDIENTE" (Republic of Honduras, Free, Sovereign, and Independent).

Historical Significance:
