The medal features a white enameled cross with radiant rays between the arms. The central medallion shows a portrait of Colonel Francisco Bolognesi, surrounded by the inscription “CRUZ PERUANA AL MERITO MILITAR.” The reverse bears the inscription “CORONEL FRANCISCO BOLOGNESI.” The decoration is suspended from a laurel wreath and original ribbon.
Condition:
Original period piece. Visible wear consistent with age. Enamel losses and surface wear present, especially on the reverse. Ribbon shows wear and age-related discoloration. Please examine all photos carefully.
