Historical and Collectible Significance:
The Greek-issued United Nations Korea Medal was awarded to members of the Greek Armed Forces who served under the United Nations Command during the Korean War (1950–1953). Greece contributed both ground forces and air support to the UN coalition. Nationally issued versions such as this example are considerably less common than the standard UN-issued medals, making them highly desirable among Korean War and United Nations militaria collectors.

Summary:
Original and very rare Greek national issue United Nations Korean War Medal with Korea clasp. Excellent collectible example representing Greece’s participation in UN operations during the Korean War.
